Speaker: Pastor Cristobal Tong
Lead English Pastor, 3Stone / New York Chinese Alliance Church
For over a decade, Cristobal Tong has been a fixture in NYC youth and college ministry, dedicated to the unique journey of 2nd and 3rd generation Asian Americans. His path to ministry was anything but linear—spanning roles from Sushi Chef to Paralegal—experiences that now fuel his mission to show students that the Gospel belongs in every square inch of their lives. As a Spiritual Life Advisor at NYU, Cristobal specializes in the kind of mentorship that happens "living life together." He holds an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary and is currently a Doctor of Ministry Candidate at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, focusing on emerging generations. His heart is to equip the local church to be the "arms and legs" of Christ in the city and across the globe. On the personal side: Cristobal is a proud dog-dad to @kitkat.paws and considers his wife, Carla, the absolute greatest blessing of his life. He is also a living testament to resilience (and perhaps a bit of bad luck), having torn his ACL three times.
